Our client, a leading security systems integrator, is seeking a Sales Engineer to broaden their experience, knowledge and skills within the sales side of the integrated security industry.
About the role:
- Visit customer sites to carry out project surveys and interpret their requirements correctly
- Support the internal and external sales teams with surveying tasks
- Produce customer quotations and pricing documents in line with the company standards
- Follow up on quoted works with a view to close
- Maintain and develop existing client relationships and accounts
- Establish relationships with new clients
- Assist the estimating team on bids for new project work
- Prepare reports for the sales management team
- Meet regular sales targets, personal and team
- Update sales forecasts regularly and accurately
- Record and maintain client contact data
- Co-ordinate sales handover to projects
- Provide updates to customers on new technologies
- Work with suppliers and manufacturers for quotations and project support
About you:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience installing and/or servicing alarm, CCTV and Access Control systems
- A desire to develop professionally and progress into a Business Development role
