Data Architect. We are seeking a Data Architect to join our Architect Practice working on a number of projects for clients in the Financial Services space.
Essential Key Skills for the Data Architect are:
Mandatory for the Data Architect include
- Experience of Python
- Good knowledge of SQL programming
- Good knowledge of AWS Services, Step Function, Glue, Lambda, API Gateway, S3,Code Commit, Cloud formation etc
- In-depth understanding of Data Warehouse/ODS, ETL concept and data modelling principles
- Good working knowledge of any ETL tool
- Strong experience of Snowflake Cloud Data warehouse (product Snowflake analytical database)
- Knowledge of Data Vault Methodology
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Good knowledge of OLAP Cubes
- Understanding of different data formats (JSON, YAML)
Desirable Skills for the Data Architect are:
- Working with a cross functional build team that includes working in collaboration with stakeholders, analysts, architects and test developers
- Azure DevOps – updating and progressing DevOps users stories and tasks
- Ability in problem solving and proactively engage with other cross functional teams to help resolve issues and blockers
- JavaScript
- Ideally experience of the Insurance sector and markets.
