Junior DevOps Engineer: we are seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to join an established DevOps Team which is growing due to expansion and this role will focus on the Automation and Delivery of our web applications.
The skills for this Junior DevOps Engineer we need are:
• DevOps Pipelines including Jenkins, GIT / Azure DevOps, Jira and TestRail
• Windows Server Operating Systems, specifically Internet Information Services, DFS and Virtualisation
• Scripting stacks including PowerShell, XML and Json
• Microsoft ASP.net Application Development, in C# or Vb.Net
• Microsoft SQL Server practices, including Database Maintenance, SQL scripting
Desired Technical Skills / Experience (but not essential):
• Aggregated logging via Elastic Stack
• Application and Server Performance analysis via ELK, Zabbix and Grafana
• Azure Administration
The ideal Junior DevOps Engineer candidate will have
• Excellent exposure Microsoft Windows Server and IIS
• Exposure for DevOps methodologies for deploying IIS-based Dot Net Applications
• Exposure to Application Development in Dot Net technologies
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• Maintenance and continual improvement of our existing Jenkins Application Deployment Pipelines
• Maintenance of deployable application source code via Azure DevOps/GIT
• Maintenance of Windows Application Servers
• Work with QA and Implementation Team to maintain Testing, Training and Production Application stacks
• Work with internal QA teams an external software vendor for Application support query resolution
• Maintenance of documentation for all automated deployment processes
The ideal candidate will possess 2-4 years experience and seeking a role that will continue their development in Azure DevOps
